Shipping Policy


All personalized minky orders placed now will be readied for August 19, 2024.

 Please note that though every best effort is made to ensure a timely delivery, our turnaround for minky products is approximate as they are not made in house - on the very rare occasion, there is a delay.

 Shipping times are ON TOP of creation time for personalized items.  Opting for expedited shipping DOES NOT EXPEDITE THE CREATION OF YOUR ORDER.  The turnaround/anticipated shipping date remains the same, but your shipping would be expedited, if the option is offered to you at checkout.  For more details on this, please check our Order Policy.

The table above outlines the delivery standards based on the location of our distribution centre to parts of Canada.  Please note that these are estimates and do not take into account for Northern Regions and Remote Centres.  Any free shipping policy does not apply to remote locations where Postal Services are charged at a premium rate - but the standard shipping rates for those locations are offered.  We cannot ship to parcel lockers or forwarding services. 

Additional Information:

  • Free shipping policy applies to $250 CAD before tax, excludes floor pillows.  
  • The turnaround timeframe indicated in the Order/Return Policy page is for when your order is placed until your order is shipped.  Please note the guaranteed turnaround time for your entire order will be the longest turnaround time of the individual items within your order.  All shipping timeline estimates are in addition to that timeframe.  
  • Once an item leaves us and is shipped we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. 

Customs & Duties for US & International Orders: We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs fees/taxes/duties/VAT, nor can we predict what your particular charges are.  All additional costs are the responsibility of the recipient of the package.  For more information regarding your country's customs policies, please contact your local customs office.

Your carrier will charge you, the recipient, all applicable duty, taxes, and/or brokerage fees C.O.D. in the local currency at the time of delivery. Your local post office or carrier can give you information on the method of payment accepted for the duties, taxes and other fees collected upon delivery.  

PLEASE NOTE: Customs may hold your package for further screenings. There is no guaranteed date of release and we cannot supply any details regarding this process.

Shipping Insurance

Once a package leaves the HSAS headquarters, we are no longer in control of packages and not responsible if it gets lost/damaged in the process.  Our shipping provider does have an insurance policy available for purchase in the rare chance that your package gets damaged or lost - to ensure package protection, we highly recommend adding insurance onto your order. 

Please note that Shipping Insurance does not cover packages that do not clear customs.  Customs are always the responsibility of the recipient, if you are sending an international order to someone as a gift, please be advised that you should inform them of the package that is on the way as they will be responsible for all applicable taxes and duties.  

Incomplete Deliveries

Her Sun & Stars Co. is not responsible for failed deliveries caused by the following scenarios:

  • Customer providing the wrong shipping address
  • Customer providing incorrect contact information (phone/email)
    - this prevents customs from being able to clear packages
  • Packages not clearing customs
  • Failure to accept delivery due to refusal to pay customs and duties
  • Failure to pick up package from carrier location after one or two logged delivery attempts by carrier

Her Sun & Stars Co. incurs Return Fees from our shipper whenever a product is sent back for reasons (including, but not limited to) stated above.  If the customer choses to have it re-sent to them, they will have to cover the Return Fees and a new shipping fee.  For orders outside of North America, there is no Return shipping option; if packages do not get cleared or an address is not found, they are disposed of by the shipper and nothing can be done.
